This is the message we have heard,
By proclaiming that God is light;
There is no darkness in the Word,
Declaring to you what is right.

If we have fellowship with God,
When we are walking in the dark;
Then we have lied and have been flawed,
And the truth never to embark.

But if we do walk in the light,
We have friendship with each other;
And always doing what is right,
For Jesus Christ is your Brother.

But if we say we have no sin,
Then the truth would not be in us;
And you have been deceived within,
A corrupted body as thus.

But if we confess our sins,
God who is faithful and just;
He forgives and cleansing begins,
All the unrighteousness and lust.

If we say that we have not sinned,
Then we have made Him a liar;
Not spiritually disciplined,
Dooms us to the lake of fire.
