One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels. Some of the Pharisees asked, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?” Luke 6:1-2 NIV
These men had lack of respect, except for adherence to man-made law. In both the realm of religion and worldly matters, we have seemed to lose respect for the idea of diversity in opinions and beliefs. Too many hold to the idea that I am right and you are wrong. Jesus did not want division within the church, yet it does exist. Until we can accept the concept of diversity we shall not find peace. Let us respect one another. If you feel someone has been led astray, pray for them.
