"And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof." Joshua 23:14.

Life can be compared with many things for a better understanding of humanity. One such is to compare life with a journey.

One undeniable truth about every journey is that it has a beginning and an ending. A journey of a million kilometers begins with a step and accumulated steps taken will take the traveler to his destination, which is the end of the journey.

There is no gainsaying the fact that there are various types of experiences on a journey, the good, the bad, and the ugly. So it is with life.

A journey becomes safer and better undertaken if it is under the direction of someone who knows the way. Prophet Moses appealed to Hobab, the son of Ruel, not to depart from the children of Israel. He said, "And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes." Numbers 10:31.

Although the presence of the Lord God of Israel was leading them through His servant, Moses, yet, He opened the eyes of Moses to know the value of Hobab's experience in camping in the wilderness. So the man of God pleaded with him and the man yielded.

This man's experience helped the people of God on their journey to the promised land.

At the terminal point of Joshua's sojourn on the Earth, he made it clear to all, then and now, that there is a common WAY OF ALL FLESH. He declared that he was going that way because the end of his journey had come.

Why was he blessed with such an opportunity? It was because he knew the Lord his God. He cleaved to Him throughout his journey of life. He started with Him. He walked with Him faithfully and he ended the journey with Him.

Beloved Pilgrim, do you always remember that there is a way that all flesh will go? How prepared are you for the journey home? If you are an Elect of the Lord, you should have known that you do not have an everlasting home here on Earth. Prepare for your time of departure to go home or the arrival of the Lord Jesus Christ to take away His Saints from the Earth. It shall be well with you in Jesus' mighty name. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
