My Peace I Give Unto You


1. Trials and troubles you will face;
More fierce the battle will rage.
But My word still stands, ever true:
I will come again for you!
I’m preparing for you a place,
Where all tears will be erased!
Oh, forget not to watch and pray:
Letting My peace be your stay!

2. Such great heartache and wickedness;
And My truth, many try to suppress!
Yet, you need not cower, or fear,
For I’ve promised to always be near!
Be ready, and lift up your eyes,
For I will come again from the skies!
Oh let not your heart troubled be,
But believe, and find rest in Me.


Refrain:
Peace I leave with you!
My peace I give unto you.
Look not upon the things which are seen,
But the things which are eternal!
Turn your eyes upon My face,
And I will outpour My grace,
And peace, which no one can take away!
My peace, I give to you today.


3. So many things that do not matter,
Your love for Me, can quickly smother!
Let nothing distract or hold you back,
For My supply will never lack!
Oh, run this race of life with My joy,
Which this world cannot destroy!
My perfect peace will be your guide,
When My Spirit, in you abides!

4. Come to me, My child, and find rest.
Walking close to Me, you will be blessed!
Through seeking My face and kingdom,
In this world you will find freedom.
In the darkness, My light will shine,
As your very life is filled with Mine!
My sweet peace I give you freely,
When your mind, and trust, is stayed on Me!
