Humbleness Is A Status

=To be humble is a state of the heart of a man who does not regard his things above that of others. It is a state of the heart that is ready to satisfy other people rather than himself. A humble heart is not easily wounded. A humble heart is ready to sacrifice many things for the sake of others.

A humble heart refuses to lord it over people, no matter how highly placed he is in society. He sees himself as not having anything. He attributes all that he has to the Lord his God only. He does not claim credit for anything he is used to do or create. He gives all glory to the living God.

The testimony about Prophet Moses shows the difference between the status of someone who is meek (KJV) or humble (NLT or NKJV). It goes thus, "[3](Now Moses was very humble—more humble than any other person on earth.)" Numbers 12.

For this piece, the words humility, meek and, humbleness will be used interchangeably as close synonyms.

Humbleness is a position or rank or status achieved by certain people in the past and still achievable today by anyone who submits himself to it among so many people.
It is a status that is reached by very few individuals.

To be humble is a status that many thought they had attained when in fact they are not in any way close to it. When such fellows assume that they are humble, they are so many kilometers away from it.

To attain a status is not a day's work. It does not display a few good attributes. It involves a display of so many good attributes each day and consistently without wavering for a single minute.
May the Lord give us the grace to be humble in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.

Note:
KJV is the King James Version.
NKJV is the New King James Version.
NLT is New Living Translation
