Your past does not equal your future.
If you've been depressed or in a financial rut for the last 5-10 years or longer you don't have to stay there.
You may think you don't have the ability to acquire much money.
This simply isn't true.
I never did think I could acquire much wealth either until I focused and took action.
Sometimes you have to reach into the future and say to yourself what do I want to achieve or how much will I need to survive and thrive?
Don't just dream but plan and set goals that are realistic.
The Chinese have a saying you may recall: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
I am well on the way to that thousand mile journey
thanks be to God.
Because of the Lord's blessing I am now fairly prosperous and by God's grace I will acquire more spiritual and physical wealth by which to promote the Kingdom of God.
Yes, it takes money to finance the Kingdom of God via Bibles, gospel tracts, travel expenses, internet and other communication technology like radio and TV and CD's, MP3's, DVD's and lets not forget books!
It takes money to purchase all these wonderful assets.
If you are not doing well and have little money in the bank perhaps you need a better philosophy.
We should be like John Wesley who said: "EARN all you can, SAVE all you can, and GIVE all you can."
This philosophy was from Wesley's famous sermon of 1789 entitled "The Use of Money."
Anybody with the desire to enhance their financial well being can do better than they are presently doing.
Being poor is not a virtue and neither is being rich necessarily but being rich is better in my opinion because it enables you to do more good.
For example, this morning I gave $240 to a brother in Christ who drove all the way from Ventura county to visit me for Christian fellowship.
Last night we watched for the second time the excellent film called "Peter and Paul" starring Anthony Hopkins.
This film increased my knowledge of the apostle Paul's evangelistic journeys and friendship with Peter in contending for the most holy faith.
I covered Michael's gas money for travel expenses plus helped him with the rent money when he arrives in Washington to get into a better living situation.
Michael used to attend Grace Community Church but he refuses to believe the false idea of a friend who attends GCC who said you only need to believe that Jesus died for you.
Not so, said Michael.
The Bible requires you to bear fruit, to keep God's commandments and to examine yourself. (John 15:8; John 14:15; 2 Cor. 13:5)
Michael gets it when so many others don't.
The easy belief gospel is still with us today even amongst those who should know better.
Part of the easy belief gospel says you are saved if you say this prayer and ask Jesus into your heart.
I don't find this language in the Bible although some have mistakenly found it in Revelation 3:20.
If you want better health it doesn't come automatically. You have to study health.
Yes, you have to do the things that make for better health and then there's no guarantee you'll ever get it but that is the way to think.
Cancer or a tragic accident can still claim your life.

If you want more wisdom you have to study wisdom. Seek this in the person of Jesus Christ who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redepmption,
Never forget that wisdom is more precious than Gold and Silver or rubies. Proverbs 3:14-15
If you want more wealth you have to study wealth and God does want you to have a certain measure of wealth.
Do not despise money but do not love it either for the love of money is the root of all evil.
NOTE: The love of money and NOT money itself is the root of all evil.

Hopefully, everything I've communicated to you makes sense.
Now, put a plan together on how to acquire more wealth, both materially speaking but especially spiritual wealth which benefits you in this life and in the life to come.
To your prosperity,
brother Carlton
