...iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness."_ Leviticus
16:21.

For everything to be in order, proper persons need to be given the right assignment(s).

In handling and dealing with the sins of God's people in ancient history, it was God's instructions to involve goats, one to be slain and the other to be set free to spend the rest of its life in the wilderness. The work of sending it must be carried out by a fit person(Original King James Version of the Holy Bible) while the New King James Version (NKJV) calls it a suitable man.

This translates that certain duties call for involving the suitable man for proper results and acceptability before God. In the vineyard of God, there are so many assignments to be carried out but the Lord has specific assignments for each group of people or different individuals.

What needs to be realised is that having the ability to do work is not enough but being fit or suitable is essential. Let me give an example here:
A qualified Judge can hear cases but he may not have the jurisdiction to entertain certain matters. Not only that, he may not be suitable to decide cases in which he has personal interests to avoid partiality or favoritism.

Beloved, take a look at the works you think should be given to you. Although, you may have the ability, are you suitable for it? Being fit for an assignment is not often considered many times in seeking a position or appointing a fellow to a post. God does not make a mistake. He knows who is worthy to do what, when, and where.

Some people blackmail others who are given an assignment they think should be given to them. Many times, they think they are more qualified or experienced than the other one who has been enlisted, especially by the Lord.

Let me narrow it down to the work of Gospel Ministries. Each Minister needs to concentrate on the work given to him. There is no need to covet the work given to another man, concentrate on the work assigned to you. Be faithful to it. You will be rewarded for the work you were given which you carry out faithfully and successfully. Do not pull down anyone who experiences progress in his work. Be dutiful on your own and at the right time, you will be elevated. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
