Jesus Doesn't Matter

If God isn't real
Jesus doesn't matter
He's in a class with
"...there arose such a clatter"

He's not a good teacher
He is a liar if he
Said what he said, and then
Left us in mire

He's not a good teacher
If he didn't speak true...
If he didn't come to die
For me and for you

He said that he came as a
Ransom for many, but if
God wasn't real we
Wouldn't need any

If God isn't real
Jesus was a man who
Died and stayed dead, and
Never rose again

So if God isn't real
Live your life on a roll
But if God is for real
Grasp His Son, save your soul

My favorite name is
"The God who sees me"
He sent His son to set
You free.

Bow to our Father
Creator of all
When you hear His voice
Answer His call

He loves you so much
Don't buy the lie
That He’s a country-club god
Who won’t let you by

He sees you, he knows you
He loves you, my friend
And when you die
That isn’t the end

Your soul will live on
He wants you with Him
After all we have done
There is freedom from sin

Because God is real
And Jesus does matter
More than life itself
He made such a clatter

When He rose again
He led captivity captive
So that we can be free
We can be free!
