Success?

Don’t be jealous of success;
The world’s success is such a mess.

Be jealous instead of my heavenly home
And try to get one of your own.

I say, “try” but the trying is done;
Your salvation is already won

By another who took your place
On the cross by heaven’s grace.

The Father was happy to pay the price;
His only son’s sacrifice.

Though it hurt in fathoms untold,
Now what is bought cannot be sold,

And you forever belong to Him,
When you believe and cling to Him.

So take your prize and show the rest
That they can have the Father’s best.

Then this world will matter no more.
True success is heaven’s door.
