Jesus Sat on the Couch

Jesus sat and watched TV;
I don’t think He could see me.

I saw Him go to church today.
He didn’t stop along the way.

He never comes to visit me,
Although He knows right where I’ll be.

I’m in my room, cold and alone.
He never calls me on the phone.

He smiles so sweetly when we meet
Out in the yard or on the street.

I know His name and what He can do.
I thought He would help me; wouldn’t you?

If you are Christian, Christ is in you.
If He wouldn’t act like this, why would you?
