You are not an aloof clockmaker God in the sense of winding us up and then leaving us to tick and fend for ourselves from a distance. No, You are a clockmaker God Who is intimately involved in every ticking second of our lives. You know what makes us tick because You caused us to begin ticking in the first place. You take great delight in Your human clocks keeping time with You! You teach us to catch and keep Your beat and to live in and by Your rhythm. It's all about rhyming with You.
