John 6:27-29 (KJV) says Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
If I were to leave you with a thought, it would simply be: The work is to believe and have faith in God. Yes, the work is to believe and have faith in God.
The difference between Faith and belief is that Faith involves reliance and trust, and it endures in the face of doubts, whereas belief is simply something we take to be true. Our experiences with God, although different, is part of what confirms our belief in him through Jesus Christ.
The things that are impossible with man are possible with God. No matter what circumstances you're facing in life, God is able to turn your situation around. You might be facing a financial storm. You might be dealing with a health crisis. If you ever read the Bible, you'll notice that God is a deliverer of his people. All you gotta do is believe and have faith in God.
Life on this side of heaven comes with many ups and downs. It comes with disappointment, heart aches, setbacks and failures. But the God we serve can do all things except fail. Nothing is impossible with the Lord.
The world we live in, is a world that minimizes God and maximizes everything that is anti God. From music, to movies, to social media, everything is becoming anti God. That's why it's important that you know what you believe. Not just what you believe but who you believe. Furthermore, you have to live what you believe.
The foundation of our belief is Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God who came to offer himself as a ransom for the sin of the world and on the third day, rise from the dead. Jesus is alive forever more.
Jesus has all power over sin, sickness and over death. He has all power over Satan and the works of the devil. All you gotta do is believe. All who believes and lives for Jesus Christ shall walk in White robes of glory. Jesus Christ is the only way.
First Corinthians 8:5-6 says: For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
But to us there is but one God, the Father of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
All the religions of the world cannot compare to truth of God in Jesus Christ. All of God's word is true. You can't just believe one part of the Bible and not the whole book. Jesus said I come in the volume of the book: it is written of me (Hebrews 10:7).
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
So the work is to believe and have faith in God. For with God, nothing shall be impossible to him that believeth. God bless, Amen.
