Most people that live in the United States and other similar countries would say that they are free. Within limits they are free to do as they choose. But one is not truly free unless they belong to the Lord and hold to His teaching. Why? Because the one who does not belong to Christ is a slave. Yes, a slave to sin. Sin has a grip on them. Yes, Christians will sin, but they are not enslaved to it. Christians take their sins to the feet of Jesus, humbly asking for His forgiveness and to be restored to Him. Let yourself truly be free. Give yourself to Christ.
