"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:18.

People of God are sent into the world to fulfill a great and meaningful purpose. They cannot fulfill their purpose with the deeds of the flesh. They have to be in the right form for the use of the Lord. Many are failing today because they are yet to be converted to be used for God's purpose. The natural man cannot please Him.

Therefore, man needs to repent and be converted to receive forgiveness of sin which will guarantee a time of refreshing from the Lord. When this takes place, destiny can be fulfilled.

Joseph and his conversion.

Evil past.
Joseph was a man who was born to be great. He was a man who was to be a great deliverer. His early life, like any other person, was engaged in doing the wrong. Many people of God do not pay attention to this.

He was an evil reporter.
"These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report." Genesis 37:2.

He was not sent into the world to be a local spy on other people's lives. He was sent to preserve the people he was reporting their evil activities until they were judged.

It was his late arrival into the family from a beloved wife, Rachel, and the evil reports he used to bring to his father, Jacob, that endeared him to the heart of his father.

He reported what his older brothers would be like to him in the future, to the brothers. That is bowing down to him. It was not a good report to the men. This fueled their hatred for him.

New Life after Conversion:
Joseph's way of life was the cause of his departure from his loving father, land, and people. He was taken to begin a journey with his Father in heaven, the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He was taken away from his "unsafe zone" to begin a better journey to the fulfillment of his destiny. He was able to be alone with Him to enjoy His presence twenty-four-seven.
He enjoyed the presence of God in the house of his master, Potiphar, who bought him as a slave. His master saw that the Lord was with him.  So, he put him in control of all he had. No record of any reports of any servant to the master of the house. He was truly converted forever.

When a conspiracy in the house of his master rose through his master's wife and sent him to prison, the Lord was with him.

Wherever he was, he experienced the mercy and favor of the Lord through others, including the keeper of the prison.

A converted Joseph had no time to take evil reports of co-prisoners to the keeper of the prison who left everything to his care. Instead, he was occupied with seeking their welfare which worked in his favor. It was his care of other prisoners that led him to know the dreams of King Pharaoh's servants, the chief cupbearer, and the chief Baker. He interpreted their dreams which came to pass as he interpreted them.

At the appointed time, the time of refreshing came. The king of Egypt, Pharaoh, dreamed of dreams that needed interpretations. Joseph interpreted them which led to the fulfillment of his destiny. He was promoted to the second position of authority in the land of Egypt.

That is the essence of conversion.

Beloved Pilgrim, can you see that a genuine conversion is directly connected to a man's fulfillment of destiny? The Lord is ever ready to be present with His people for their benefit. It is important to allow Him to do the necessary conversion. Joseph was converted and his dreams came to fulfillment. If you do, you will fulfill your own. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
