Human beings are created to interact with one another. Such interactions are meant to be of value.

As much as you can review what other people have added to your life for necessary changes, do you know that it is important to ask yourself what your contribution to the lives of the people you are dealing with has been?

A conversation ensued between a husband and his wife in November twenty-twenty-three. What was it about? Effects and contributions to each other's lives. It was the wife who first mentioned her man's meaningful contribution to her life. She pointed out to the man that she never expected to further her education after her "wounded '0' level results". It was the husband who engineered her to go to school again. She also mentioned a few other things.

The husband asked the wife what she could think of contributing to his life after thirty years of marriage because he could not remember any. Giving the wife some time to mention any, she could not also remember any. That is a relationship!

In what relationship are you also involved? Can you mention one or more value(s) you have added to it or you are only a beneficiary?

Is this needful, you may ask? "Yes, it is!"  This is what happened to Jacob in the house of Laban, his uncle in Padan Aran. He had a good ground to negotiate because of his valuable contribution to the life of the man. He said when it matters most,
"Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.
For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude, and the LORD hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?" Genesis 30: 29-30.

Beloved Pilgrim, on your pilgrimage here on the Earth, you have to impact the lives of others, within your ability. No matter how little it might look to be. Be of value in your relationship, at a point in time, you will be proud of it. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
