PRAYER AND GOD'S WORD - THE BEDROCK OF THE MINISTRY.
This message is in respect of the revival already breaking forth in some quarters, through the concerted effort of our faithful local Churches, fellowships and ministry outreaches. The Lord Jesus Christ says, we have His Word, and we're preaching it, however, we need to intensify our intercession strategically, to optimize our power output for maximum effect.

This is the great burden in my heart I wish to share with you. While I truly commend your honest, hard work and commitment, I desire to see how the Lord could help us ministers, go farther than where we are today. And if we give it serious consideration, I believe this will greatly increase productivity in God’s vineyard through us. The Lord wants us to prepare some more for His imminent return.

It's common knowledge within the body of Christ that the return of our Lord Jesus Christ is very close. We're not children of the night or in darkness, we can sense it by the Holy Spirit.
Our cities, communities and neighborhoods are teeming with multitudes of people, and many of those places certainly overpopulated. Everyone with at least a pressing need. Yet, our Churches are almost empty in comparison. If the Lord Jesus Christ was currently, physically our Pastor and Minister, will it be that way? Very unlikely, I think. Then, how can we be like our Lord in this regard?

John 14:12. MSB
The person who trusts Me will not only do what I'm doing, but even greater things, because I, on My way to the Father, Am giving you the same work to do that I have been doing. You can count on it.
Our Lord Jesus Christ can never lie, because He doesn't just ALWAYS tell the truth, HE IS THE TRUTH. John 14:6.

And the Lord replied, "I'm talking to any faithful, sensible servant to whom the master gives the responsibility of managing his household and feeding his family. Blessed is that servant, whom his master when he cometh shall find so doing. Luke 12:42, 43.

TEAMWORK MAKES A DREAM WORK.

Jesus Christ, God's Word, waited for 30 years to team up with the Holy Spirit, the power of God, (who actually executes God's Word and desires on earth), to make the Father's dream, the expression and manifestation of God's love, work on earth. That being the salvation of men, deliverance from demonic oppression, healing of diseases and infirmities and blessings to a cursed world through signs, wonders and miracles. Through Divine intervention.

Jesus Christ, God's Word said.

Luke.4.18, 19.
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for God has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come. "

The Apostles received the Word from the Lord Jesus Christ for over 3 years, but He would not let them preach it until they are teamed up with the Holy Spirit, God's power to make the Word effective and productive. And the Holy Spirit came on them the same way He came on Jesus Christ, while praying!
Intensive intercession invites, activates or generates the Holy Spirit, while preaching and teaching presents and disseminates the Word of God for the power of the Holy Spirit to execute and perform! That's Teamwork.

Luke.3.21, 22.
One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on him in the form of a dove. And a voice from heaven said, "You are my beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with you.”

Luke.24.49.
"And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city praying (Acts 1:4-15) until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven."

Acts.4.31, 33.
After this prayer, the building where the disciples were meeting shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and power. And they preached God's message with boldness.
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4 are remarkable portions of scripture that reveal the meticulous, organized and caring nature of our Lord, to see to it that we are resourceful, effective, productive and successful in our ambassadorial role on earth. He gave us gifts or special abilities through His overflowing grace. Glory to God!

However, these amazing, diverse gifts are like various parts of the body, a building, or any structure requiring a foundation or support base. As ministry gifts support and sustain spiritual gifts, so Prayer and The Word are the bedrock of the Christian life and ministry. Also, they energize the fruit of the Holy Spirit in us. Actually creating the balance between power and sound Christian character. That's so remarkable!

Acts 6.3,4. (MSG).
So, friends, choose seven men from among you whom everyone trusts, men full of the Holy Spirit, good reputation and wisdom, and we'll assign them this task.
Meanwhile, we'll stick to our assigned tasks of prayer and preaching God's Word."

The nature and strength of the foundation will determine the design, uniqueness, quality, capacity and strength of the building, business or ministry.

Great, high quality, long standing products, services, companies and ministries with long standing track records, identify their Ultimate or Primary calling, purpose, pursuit, product, service or offering early. And then search meticulously for experts and professionals, and pay them well to dedicate their entire time, expertise and focus developing the highest quality products and services before any additional positions and/or projects in that organization are considered. A highly effective prayer and teaching ministry alone could attract multitudes without any music, movie or any other form of motivation, because Prayer and The Word will always meet even the most desperate needs. Solutions Attract Multitudes Always!

Nevertheless, every other form of ministry in the body of Christ is very vital and necessary, but should be built on the foundation of prayer and the Word of God.

The local Church and/or ministry is God's business, Jesus said.

Luke.2.49.
And Jesus said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"

Now, ministry is the Ultimate Business, and the Lord shows us that Prayer and the ministry of the Word of God are the bedrock, and foundation of His business requiring our absolute focus and investment. And His ministers are the chosen, anointed vessels or professionals for the great commission sustained only by Prayer and God's Word.

For Prayer, the Lord has called and anointed certain saints and servants of God endowed with His grace, compassion, and passion mainly for Intercession, as Intercessory Ministers. They are like every true minister, particularly the preaching and teaching ministers in the fivefold ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher, Ephesians 4:7-16. Preaching/teaching ministers are graciously and divinely enabled, not only to passionately study and apply God's Word to their personal needs, but they are mature enough to share, teach, preach and minister its benefits, equipping the saints for ministry.

Consequently, this anointed minister of God, the Intercessor, is graciously and divinely enabled not only to passionately pray for his or her own needs, but to Pray fervently and persistently for others as a ministry, due to the divine burden to reach out, share or minister like every faithful minister. For the Intercessor, his greatest desire and fulfilment is to share with others God's Power, which only fervent, persistent praying produces, often with fasting.

The Intercessory office in leadership is a gift, ministry and God's grace given to His Church, representing the first part of the foundational tool of Prayer and God's Word for every ministry.

Isaiah 62.6,7.
O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray to the LORD day and night for the fulfillment of his promises. Take no rest, all you who pray. Give the LORD no rest until he makes Jerusalem the object of praise throughout the earth.

As relevant as the ministry of the Pastor, teacher, evangelist and others, who are God's professionals for preaching and teaching, representing His WORD in the local Church, so is the relevant ministry of the Intercessor, as God's professional representing Prayer in the local Church and every ministry.

There are anointed Intercessors out there that should be in full time ministry, and should be well paid to stay totally focused, committed and dedicated to the ministry, working in collaboration and harmony with a pastor or any of the fivefold ministers who also should be full time and well paid by the ministry to stay totally focused, committed and dedicated to the ministry. Very often, an intercessor is already within your prayer team, waiting to be motivated and inspired to step up unto full time commitment.

These are God's business/ministry professionals representing Prayer and the Word whose synergistic output will unfailingly result in local - internal, and then global - external mega revival.

The wisest, single, most profitable and infallible, present and eternal investment any God- ordained ministry will ever make is to invest generously and extravagantly in establishing an unbreakable, remarkable and infallible Foundation, the foundation of Prayer and the ministry of God's Word! Now, that requires getting God's professionals, an Intercessory and a Preaching/Teaching minister full time!

The Intercessor spends the whole office hours interceding for the ministry, building an Intercessory team of prayer warriors, and then raising potential Intercessory Ministers.

Colossians 4.12,13.
Epaphras, from your city, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings. He always prays earnestly for you, asking God to make you strong and perfect, fully confident of the whole will of God.
I can assure you that he has agonized for you and also for the Christians in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

While the preaching/teaching minister focuses on studying and preparing to teach, teaching God's Word, delegating, management and grooming potential preaching/teaching ministers.

When these two faculties, offices, roles and calling are recognized, respected, promoted, projected and rewarded in the local Church and ministry, and then harmoniously, diligently, carefully harnessed and synchronized as a divine, professional team, maximum productivity is accomplished in even the most wayward, perverse society. This is what causes sudden outbreak of miracles and mega revival because God remains faithful to His Word and promises!

Acts 6:4, 7.
Meanwhile, we will stick to our assigned tasks of Prayer and the ministry of God's Word.
Then the word of God spread rapidly, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Get an anointed Intercessor teamed up with an anointed Preacher or Teacher, and let them work together in harmony, full time. Let's stick to our God-ordained plan or vision for ministry, and never be distracted no matter the pressure. And when we have to expand the physical outreach of our ministry to other locations, that would be great, and it becomes very easy because we already have the right team. We send a preacher or teacher and an Intercessor over there for full time ministry. That's an unbeatable team to kick off a revival even in the most spiritually, morally and economically deplorable community and society! Times have become more desperate, requiring more desperate divine measures and strategies.

Since our expectation reflects our faith, we must expect great miracles, because God desires to give us lots and lots of them, as His expression of His love to the terribly oppressed human race, because He is love, if we remain focused, faithful, fervent and fearless. Hallelujah!

Isaiah 43.19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

1 Peter 4:7, 8.
The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

I pray that God's awesome presence will be with us, all year round as we press forward in our commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
