Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. John 8:8 NIV

Jesus wished to give the accusers of the woman an opportunity to ponder what He said. When He speaks to us today, He also gives us time to absorb that which we hear from Him. He wants to see the action we take. Do we ask the Holy Spirit to help us determine what it is that we should do, or do we rely on our own judgement? Jesus wants us to be involved in handling our situations, but He wants us to use His guidance in dealing with that which needs to be dealt with. Remember this the next time He stoops and writes after speaking to you.
