Prayers

I pray for each nation—for all here on Earth.
I pray new beginnings—I pray a rebirth.

I pray there be peacetime—an end to all wars.
I pray there be gladness that lasts evermore.

I pray away violence, all hatred, and greed.
I pray that each person does only good deeds.

I pray for world leaders—that they all join hands—
I pray they work well bringing peace to all lands.

I pray, Lord in Heaven, that Your Will be done
and each of the nations come gather as one.

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4:7, NIV)
