I don't know if I'm the only one who's been seeing it/hearing it or not. But it seems to me that the Lord is taking myself and many other members of "the Church" here at FaithWriters to another level in Him, a prophetic level that is most obvious in the things you're writing. Which reminds me, one of you even said to me a couple of days ago "He is taking us to another level."

After reading one of your most blessed articles, I left a comment for another of you just a little while ago, something similar to: "I'm going to go to bed on what I just read." Well, I did go to bed. I was nearly asleep when I either heard or dreamed "Trumpeter, keep the mouthpiece readily available at all times, at any given moment." And then, seconds later, "Take your pen even to bed with you so that, truly, you are the pen of a 'ready writer.'"

Of course, I jumped out of bed and located pen and paper. Then, I went back to bed and almost immediately fell asleep. I was asleep maybe an hour. And the following is what woke me up. I don't believe for a moment that it is only for me... not with the way that you all have been writing lately.

Play for me.
Play for me.
Play me a blessed tune.
Play for me.
Play clearly for those who'll hear,
"Your Redeemer is coming to you soon."

Sing for me.
Sing for me.
Sing of my endless love.
Sing for me.
Sing songs proclaiming my grace,
and I will descend on you like a dove.

Sing
"Play for me.
Play for me,
the Savior of mankind.
Play for me
simply because I am yours.
And rejoice simply because you are mine."

Well, it doesn't really seem like much to me here in the middle of the night. In fact, it's pretty "simple." But it's apparently what He wanted heard. So, FELLOW TRUMPETERS, keep those mouthpieces readily available! You just never know the hour or the day (or night)... of His coming or of His command to sound your own trumpet with some special tune that He wants to play THROUGH you.

Notice that the last stanza says "Sing" before it, separately and different from the other stanzas. That's because "play" is used in a different context than it was in the first stanza. I understood "be joyful and playful" when I heard it. In fact, now I see many people, like little children playing, gathered around in a big circle of hands, singing, dancing, laughing...

rejoicing!
