After John was beheaded Jesus needed some quiet time alone, although He was not alone. I believe He was in prayer with the Father. There come times when each of us need to be alone. What an opportunity this presents to spend time with God. Other people can definitely be supportive of us, especially in times of trouble or sadness, yet what we really need then is the knowing that God is in our presence. He always stands there willing and waiting to help you. Seek His presence.
