 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. John 6:39 NIV

So, if it is the Father’s will that none of those whom He gives to Christ be lost, does it mean that you cannot disown Christ if you have accepted Him? Tough question. We all have been given free will. Christ said that seed might fall on a path, or amongst thorns and be choked off. Could it be that the ones given by the Father to the Son are those who accept the Word, live by it, and give themselves to Christ, while the others are not given by the Father to the Son? Such questions to ponder. Not everything stated by Christ is totally understood to mean the same to everyone, thus various denominations of Christianity. What we need to focus on as Christians is what Christ calls us to do.
