Hunber and Thirst

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35 NIV

We do seek after things besides food to fulfill hunger and thirst which we have. But is our hunger and thirst for that which can really satisfy? A hunger or thirst for materialism will not ever really be satisfied. The more you have the more you will want more. You kid yourself if you say “If only I had ___”. You may hunger and thirst for good things, such as joy, peace, love, and others, but where you seek out these may not provide that for which you seek. The soul is in search that it no longer be hungry or thirsty. Hunger and thirst for the soul can only be found in Jesus Christ. Search no further than Jesus.
