Jesus did not need human testimony as to who He is. John did testify about Christ, but this was for the benefit of those who heard him testify. Jesus had the perfect testimony for who He is, the work which the Heavenly Father gave Him to do. Sadly the Jewish leaders would not accept that testimony, even though what they saw could not just be done of a human of his own doing. God the Father sent His Son and Jesus did all the work the Father gave to Him. The Jewish leaders were just too blind to see the testimony which stood before them.
