Certain Sons

One general statement about religions is that they all call on the same God but in different ways. It is universally accepted for peace to reign because no one will like his religion to be condemned or relegated to the second position or background.

However, the truth remains that God knows those who worship Him indeed and those who worship the true God sincerely know themselves and they are happy doing so.

Sadly, a lot of people worship a God they do not know intimately, Acts 17:23.

God loves all His creatures and He provides for all their needs. He delighted in human beings to the extent that He made them controllers over all the works of His hand. Sadly, human beings do not have the same standing before God. It is the state of a man's heart that dictates His relationship with Him.

Even among those who are close to Him as sons and daughters, the rating is different. Is God partial?! No! Each person will be rewarded according to his ways and works. So, when the time for rewards comes, envy may set in but most of the time, no one takes the time to search himself to know or realize that he has been adequately compensated.

Some sons are fit and proper for thrones and palaces as certain sons are qualified to be given gifts according to their faithful works carried out by pure hearts.

This was demonstrated by King Jehosaphat of Judah during his lifetime. God blessed him with many sons. The Scriptures bear witness to this,
[1]"When Jehoshaphat died, he was buried with his ancestors in the City of David. Then his son Jehoram became the next king.
[2]Jehoram’s brothers—the other sons of Jehoshaphat—were Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Judah.
[3]Their father had given each of them valuable gifts of silver, gold, and costly items, and also some of Judah’s fortified towns. However, he designated Jehoram as the next king because he was the oldest." 2 Chronicles 21.

What are you entitled to in the house of God, the throne or valuable gifts only? Certain sons and daughters are entitled to thrones while others are to be given gifts.

My beloved reader, what does your standing and walking like before God? If you have put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, He has gone to prepare a place for you in the House of His Father where there are many mansions. What will your accommodation look like among the mansions? Will you be among those who will reign with Him in His kingdom? Watch your standing and walking before Him as well as your heart towards Him, His people, and his house.

On the other hand, if you are only religious without having any relationship with God, your Creator, to Whom you will give an account of how you spend your life, you are fortunate to come across this piece. A new beginning may start now where you are.

Only acknowledge that you are not perfect but full of wrongdoings and you can not help yourself. Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Tell the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart for total occupation and control through His Holy Spirit. Obtain a copy of the Holy Bible. Read it regularly for edification and growth. Follow every instruction that you are given in the Word to prosper your way. Then you become a new person in Him. Your life will experience a drastic and positive change. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
