There's no message more glorious
Than the one we sing this day.
Christ o'er death was victorious;
We by song our love convey.
There's no other way to show it,
So we praise His holy name,
For we want our Lord to know it;
We're so grateful that He came.

CHORUS
Jesus came to earth to rescue
All who were the slave of sin.
Lord, this Easter day we bless you,
For you did the victory win.

2.
By our Easter songs we praise Him
Who defeated our great foe.
He brought light that never will dim,
But by His grace ever glow.
He's alive and ever will be.
He's the one we'll ever praise.
There will be endless jubilee
When He all from death will raise.

CHORUS

3.
There's not now, nor ever will be
Any king to take your role.
You alone can set the dead free;
You alone can make men whole.
You're the King of Kings forever;
To your Lordship we will bow.
It is our life's great endeavor
To be loyal servants now.
