The way that God intends man to use their eyes to see and their ears to hear requires that man understand with their heart. But, understand what? It is that they understand their Creator, understand His mercy, love, sacrifice, His holiness. In other words, man must understand the character of God, who He is and what He has done and continues to do for us. When the heart understands, then the heart can be healed and find true peace and joy.
