Light has come into the world, John 3:19b NIV
The human body needs light to survive. Sure, the body can go for awhile without light, but it does over a period of time require life, even if it must be artificial light. Just as the body needs light, the spirit also needs light to survive. Without light the spirit is dead. The Light for the human soul is Jesus Christ. The Light also penetrates the heart of the believer. So, the heart also needs light. The physical body requires the light of the sun, which was created by God. The heart and soul require light, the Light that is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Heavenly Father. Know that Light has come to and remains on the earth. No darkness can put out the eternal Light which is Christ.
