I am a little child in your eyes
You are my creator
And the creator of time
As I age down here on earth
Compared to you I am just a baby
Learning how to walk in this life of eternity
This flesh may wrinkle and wear down
But my spirit is young and full of life
In your eyes I am a child learning the basics of this eternal existence
I am thankful you are my Father who takes my hand and shows me the way
Teaching
Guiding
Correcting
Me along this everlasting never ending journey
Understanding when my childlike tendencies get in the way
When I think I know what’s best and don’t always listen
But your always there ready to jump when I start to fall
I am thankful that you love me
Even when I throw my tantrums because I don’t always get my way.
I Love You Father and I am thankful to be your child
One you Love and hold dear.
