Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? Matthew 9:5 NIV
Of course, here Jesus is not speaking of actually uttering the two phrases. What He refers to is which is easier to take action on. It certainly is not easy to say to a paralytic to get up and walk. Even a doctor cannot do that. Healers who can cure someone of a health issue do not do so of their own, it is through God that the healing occurs. The healer is just a vessel of God, letting God’s healing pass through Him to the individual healed. So, it certainly is not easy for one to proclaim in words to someone that they are healed of a physical ailment.
