THERE IS JESUS

In the middle of all the pain
There is Jesus
When your heart rises into your throat
And you must surely scream,
Or swallow it whole,
There is Jesus.
When no words could ever suffice
To express the heartbreak and the sorrow,
There is Jesus.
When it seems impossible to get up
To face each new day
Without your love,
Without seeing your face,
Hearing your laugh,
Witnessing your smile,
Feeling your hug,
There is Jesus.
When tears soak your pillow
When there seems to be no hope
When days are long and
Nights are endless,
When the nightmare never seems to end,
There is Jesus.
He catches your tears,
He breathes life into your lungs,
He takes your broken heart
And makes it whole again.
When life is too hard to go on,
He carries you.
He is an ever present help
In times of trouble,
His peace passes all understanding
His grace gives you the will to go on
His love and mercy are never ceasing.
When you just can’t,
He can.
He is Jesus.
