Sing Your Way Through The Day   Jane H. Young

 What do you do when you find yourself in a depressed mood, feeling like you have no help, no hope and no way out? Maybe we should do as David did – singDavid’s psalms show how a man of God prays during times of hardship, loss, joy, fear, it’s through songs.

 “The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life.” Psalms 42:8 NASB1995

“I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” Psalms 104:33NASB1995

Choose to sing unto the Lord a new song and reflect upon the good things He has done, and as you do, your mind will be renewed. Singing helps us repeat thoughts of God so His word can dwell in us and the over flow will be a witness of Gods love to those around us.

“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16 NASB1995

Your mind might be struggling with negative thoughts and doubts, but that’s all the more  reason to sing and to reflect upon the good things God has done. Singing songs of praise will help renew your mind and put  joy back in you life.

This is just one of 1000’s of beautiful worship songs. Find a few of your favorites and sing, when you feel down, you find yourself complaining, or you are just having a bad day, SING!!
