You Are Being Watched   Jane H. Young

 We had a couple of young’s ladies stop by the other night. It was two of our daughters high school friends that graduated with her, 26 years ago. It was an honor that they wanted to stop by in the first place, but when they started talking about the times they had at our home when they were kids, it made me really think. In our everyday busy life how do people see us, when we are just being ourselves., not with our guard up, not paying any attention to the eyes that are watching us. 

 These girls even in their youthfulness  had been noticing what we did and how we conducted ourselves. Now 26 years later they are telling us things that they remember doing in our home and things that they remember us doing. We probably never gave any of those things a second thought, but it was wonderful to hear, now as grown woman, how they remembered those times so fondly growing up, visiting our home. 

 “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:12 NASB

 We must live our lives in such a way that it doesn’t matter when people are watching. Let your actions be a witness to what life can be and should be when you walk with our Lord.We can’t act one way when we know people are watching and then another when we think they aren’t. You never know what affect your life has on someone years later, do your best to make it something that is positive. People watch us all the time let’s leave them with good memories to reflect  on later in life.

 “in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,” Titus 2:7 NASB

 Prayer: Father help me to walk in a way, at all times, that will have a positive lasting effect on others. Shine a light on any actions or words I need to change in my everyday life.
