Love and Pray

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:44-45 NIV

It is a mighty tall order to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you. God has created each of us, loving us all beyond what we can comprehend. He blesses each of us with much. If God does so, who are we to choose those we wish to love and hate others? Who are we to deprive prayer to God for those who persecute us? Are we entitled to sit on the judgement throne and make these types of decisions? We must go beyond what we think is reasonable. We must love as God loves and pray for everyone.
