[9]The angel of the lord said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit to her authority.”
[10]Then he added, “I will give you more descendants than you can count.”
[11]And the angel also said, “You are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael (which means ‘God hears’), for the lord has heard your cry of distress.
[12]This son of yours will be a wild man, as untamed as a wild donkey! He will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone will be against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all his relatives.”

The flesh of man is the number one enemy of man. Because it is from the dust, it is interested in the things that will cause him to return to the dust where it rightly belong. So, it makes man to make mistakes. Flesh is weak and works at cross purposes with the Spirit of God resident in man.

This was the plight of the woman in question above. What happened?

Mistake: Inability to submit. According to the clear instructions given her by the Angel, her mistake was failure to submit to the appropriate authority because the Lord gave her what her boss was crying for but was yet to be given. What was it? Pregnancy! This caused her to become a wanderer in the wilderness because her mistress became harsh to her.

Miracles:: Grace to speak with an Angel. This turned around to become a blessing. A miracle manifested. What was it? She became a woman with whom an Angel of God spoke, face to face. She became someone who received instructions from an Angel of God without an intermediary. What a great privilege and miracle! She had the opportunity to know the way of life of the coming son. She was shown the way out of her problem.

Repentance: Let me reiterate it here that one thing is germane in this matter and this is Repentance. For the miracles to be perfect, there was an instruction to return and submit. This is very important to benefit optimally from a miracle that will be the end of a mistake.
