"[20]After the flood, Noah began to cultivate the ground, anted a vineyard.
[21]One day he drank some wine he had made, and he became drunk and lay naked inside his tent.
[22]Ham, the father of Canaan, saw that his father was naked and went outside and told his brothers.
[23]Then Shem and Japheth took a robe, held it over their shoulders, and backed into the tent to cover their father. As they did this, they looked the other way so they would not see him naked.
[24]When Noah woke up from his stupor, he learned what Ham, his youngest son, had done." Genesis 9.

In the first and second parts of this title, it was disclosed that in joy you have to be cautious to avoid exposing your secrets to those around or far from you. It is very dangerous and destructive.

In this third and final part, the role of someone who sees a nakedness will be examined. Many times, you cannot have absolute control over what you see around you. People may expose their nakedness in any form without your request or influence. You may not be able to control that.

However, you have absolute control over how you react to what you have seen. This will determine many things, most especially what will be your portion, now and in the future.

Ham And His Father's Nakedness.
In the story of Noah, the righteous read earlier in this piece, Ham saw Noah's nakedness. This was not his making or fault. He did wrong when he acted wrongly.
1. When he saw what had happened to his father, he reserved the right to keep quiet until the man woke up and regain his senses.
2. He could have done what his brothers did, covering his nakedness with wisdom. Even if he had covered him looking at him, it would have been better.
3. The main step that became his undoing is publicity. Hewl went to proclaim it to his brothers. He may have added some jest to it. He may have told them mockingly before those men covered their father's nakedness.

Now to you. What are the secrets of your father, biological or spiritual, that you know? Do you cover them to pray for him over those things you know? Or do you go about telling whoever cares to listen? For you, it is dangerous.

Why?

1. You are sowing evil seeds which will germinate, grow and become fruit-bearing trees. Do you want to reap evil fruits? Do not plant one!
2. You stand the risk of curses from the man, your father. This may have multiple effects on you now or/and in the future.
3. It may become an unlimited liability to be inherited by generations after you.
Does it worth it? Keep those secrets you know about your father and pray for him on it. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
