During the good and bad you should remain the same
Never focus on looking for someone or something to blame
In joy or despair conduct yourself with the proper demeanor
That way everything surrounding the situation will end up cleaner

No matter what surrounds you over the course of time
The one common variable will be the presence of your shine
Will you choose to remain a bright light in all forms of sight
Or fall into the slim dim essence of darkness that resembles the night

How you conduct yourself is always visible to those around you
Everyone in the vicinity witnesses what you may be going through
Whether the people are the same or different can vary
Just be sure to represent yourself accurately and don’t tarry

Hesitation rarely serves anyone well
Many times it leads to regret or staying in a shell
In order to overcome a problem one must face it
So be decisive in your endeavors and never quit

It’s hard to create a ripple effect if you don’t take the plunge
Risks are necessary if you want to soak up the rewards like a sponge
In your times of success you can be an inspiration
Disseminating happiness giving a boost to others’ determination
