Flee.
If you want to receive something from someone when your hands are full of certain items, it becomes impossible for you to do so except you do away with what you are holding. Parting ways with it will allow you to receive something new.
In the same way, it is impossible for anyone to walk in two ways at the same time. You will surely make a choice of which way to go.

It is essential to flee from certain illicit demands or desires for the purpose of choosing a new course to take. What are those things you are accustomed to that are not right? Flee from them.

Follow.
After you have done away with what are not beneficial, it is right to bring in a better thing (s) that are profitable. Doing away with lusts calls for following righteousness, faith, charity and peace among brethren.
Beloved, what is your decision? Resolve to flee all forms of lusts to follow what is right.
