Worship
Love is not just a word
It’s a feeling
An action
A way of life
For way too long
We human beings
Have not been very kind
To one another
Always looking out for number one
Stepping over each other
Crushing whoever stands in the way
As we reach for the top
Of this material world’s system
Humankind is a broken ideal
A plan that went wrong
The natural world
After the fall of man
Has been corrupted
This is not what God intended
Like in the beginning
There was to be no divorce
One man to love one woman
Be fruitful and multiply
Man, and beast at peace
Dominion over all
He had created
Placed in the Garden of Eden
To take care of it
Gave it all away
Kicked out
Paradise gone
And we can’t get back
On our own
Love is just not a word
You are loved with no limits
He will take you
As you are
Not perfect
With your flaws
He will let you
Become…
One of His own
