Driving around the neighborhood seeing children at the park
The innocence is refreshing given the nature of the world being dark
Witnessing them playing only seeing each other as kids
No tainted thoughts of difference that society will try to implant behind their eyelids

We’re all human that’s the bottom line
Skin color isn’t something that should define
They act the proper way in treating each other the same
Doesn’t matter where they’ve come from, they’re just enjoying the games

Laughter and elements of comfort pouring out
Expressing fun all around without a doubt
The joy in the smiles on their faces
Running around at their own paces

Nothing corrupt being presented
Just a sense of bliss with no ill will represented
The fresh air keeping them healthy and able
Learning each other’s names instead of labels

A lot can be learned with basic interaction
Nothing complicated about this situation
A pity that someday they’ll likely lose this
Due to wrongful teachings that they won’t know to dismiss
