Tons of people pushed away religion because they felt restricted
Yet these days outside of it what you can or can’t do is far more limited
If you don’t fit a certain mold you’re in further danger of being berated
If you don’t speak or act a certain way then you’ll definitely be hated

Don’t get fooled into thinking everything is alright
You need something greater to survive the fight
People don’t even realize they exercise faith a lot these days
It’s just unfortunate that they instill their views and beliefs into incorrect ways

Whether they believe in that or not doesn’t change the facts
As they read and listen to words that get them to react
In doing so they utilize those messages to mold their stance
Putting stock in certain practices to formulate a path to advance

Not everything you see and hear is accurate
There are flaws all around with a lot of information being inaccurate
So for people to embrace those lines of thinking they execute a form of faith
Due to allowing what they don’t honestly investigate to influence how they behave

Without proper research of the topic and sources you can be mislead
Which is the foundation of many issues we see spread
Many think they can advocate for peace by using violence
They also seem to feel anything they don’t approve should be kept in silence

There is blatant evidence that a greater movement is underway
And still many don’t see it clearly because of the foray
They’re too deep in the seeds of greed and hatred
To realize that the diversity they wish to see is fleeting due to the thoughts in their head

It’s hard to see the enemy when it resides within
Hopefully more people realize the reality of sin
Why do they try to control others if they don’t want to be controlled
Little do they know they’re the ones that cause the problems to unfold
