  Our spiritual adversary not only fears our prayers because of what we will ask, but also because of what we will hear and Whom we will hear. Our adversary fears our interaction with God, and tries desperately to disrupt that interaction.  
  GOD Is, after all, the quintessential people Person. It stands to reason,  because God created people in the first place. The greatest myth or lie in circulation against God in contemporary culture is not that God doesn't exist or that God is dead, but that God is distant and impersonal.  That is what the Deists of the 18th century believed and that "clockmaker god" has simply reinvented itself in the trappings of 21st century garb.
  The big lie of today is that God is too important and too busy to want an intimate relationship with any of us. He makes faithful provision for us, but has much bigger fish to fry otherwise. But when the resurrected Jesus fried fish for breakfast for his fishermen disciples, he was making a very different and relational kind of statement to them and to all posterity. He was inviting them and inviting us into his very own heart.
