Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deut 31:6 ESV
Being alone or dying alone is one of the biggest fears for those of us who are getting older in age. As Christians, if we know God’s word, we know in our head that He has promised to never leave or forsake us. The question is, do we really believe our heavenly Father and Jesus when they make us this promise? Belief in God’s promises and the corresponding steps of faith they require are the only way to His peace that surpasses all understanding. His peace, is always being offered to us on a golden platter. We just need to stop doubting, to believe and trust His word.
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Heb 13:5 ESV
The truth is. we could never find a better promise maker. God knows everything about us and His promises still stand. He is faithful to His word even when we are unfaithful. He is also fully capable of fulfilling all of His promises. There is no other promise maker who so loved us that He sent His only Son to die for us. I think we can trust Him.
Jesus, promises to never leave or forsake us, to be with us always. Always includes right now as we sit alone in our homes. Always includes the time of our death in this world. The Father, Son and Spirit are with us now and they will be there when we leave this world and go home. If you fear dying alone, have a frank discussion with yourself, why don’t you believe your loving Fathers words? His freedom and peace await, BELIEVE and speak out the truth to defeat the enemy and dispel the fear.
I cannot possibly die alone; my Lord and Savior loves me and is always with me.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Jesus in Matt 28:20 b ESV

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” Luke 22:20
