Here's the deal.  God allowed this plague to come upon us for His purposes.  It did not take Him by surprise, nor is He scrambling to make it work for Him.  The evil actions of men are all part of His plan to shape us into the vessels for His Holy Spirit that He wants us to be. 

When we get into a panic about the disease or the riots and violence (which I consider part of the plague) we are saying our God is not powerful enough to protect us and manage the situation.    Please don't be that person.  God has not called us to fear but has given us power, love and a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7)

The house arrests we were under were used by God to cause us to stop our insanely busy lives for a hot minute and listen to what He wants to tell us, to see and appreciate His creation, and to understand what the stakes are in our nation and our lives before we let what really matters slip away from us.  This hard reset has caused us to reconnect with family, teach our children what matters and dig deeper into God's word for the answers to the dilemmas of our lives.  It has caused us to appreciate things like church so much more than we ever had, and know we are not to take it for granted ever again.

God is equipping us to stand up against evil in our nation and world, fight back against the darkness and lose the complacency that had mired us down.  We are called to love each other with His love, serve each other with His humility and not forsake gathering together in obedience to His word.  We must bring our minds into alignment with His and open our eyes to see what He is doing in the world.

God is also working in the unsaved world to draw many souls to Himself, drag evil kicking and screaming into the light, and fulfill that which is necessary to bring about events which have been foretold from the beginning.  He is preparing the world for the return of Jesus to rule and reign after rescuing His Bride and marrying her.  Those of us who believe in Him must look beyond present circumstances and eagerly anticipate seeing Him face-to-face and enjoying His presence forever.

If you have not trusted Jesus with your soul, now is the time to acknowledge that you are a sinner before God, believe that Jesus died to pay for your sin, and ask Him for forgiveness and salvation of your soul.  He will never turn you away.  Do it NOW.  None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, or even the next minute.  God does not "send people to Hell."  They send themselves by rejecting God's gracious gift of life and salvation through His Son, Jesus.
