"Suffering? Pain?" The citizen of heaven had been asked by an angel if he remembered such things ever existing. "Yes I have a faint memory of something like those experiences existing once upon a time on earth." "Sickness? Sorrow? Yes, those too. I have some vague recollection that long ages ago people had those kinds of sensations, something we might think of as, well, unpleasant might be the word. I'm not sure if I ever felt anything like it myself or if anyone I know or knew ever felt it, but I heard that it may have once happened somewhere to someone."
"And tears you ask? I've heard there were once other kinds of tears, but the only tears I've known are tears of joy. Can't imagine otherwise. "
