Prophecy

The enemy's scheme is for us to miss out on being transformed so as to settle for being conformed to this world, because he's the god of this world and the master of disguise.  He would disguise God in us so the He cannot be recognized by others, and so that we cannot even recognize ourselves. (The more like Christ we are, the more like ourselves we become. ) The enemy specializes in apparent change that is not true inward change. He is the master of masquerade, and all the masks and hypocrisies necessary to make it happen, and maintain it.  We as God's soldiers must be fully armed to defeat this scheme.  It will require every piece of spiritual armor being fully engaged.
 In short, the scheme of the enemy is for us to settle for way less and come up far short of the fullness that Christ died to give us, and to be tragically content to be in that place, so distant from His heart.
