John:4:14 -"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life".
John:8:12 - "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life".
Life is more precious than any valuable possessions we hold. Living the life God had blessed us with, we must live it the utmost. These lines have been mentioned many times to us. But then a question arises in our minds contradicting those words. Why do we struggle so much when we want to be satisfied with what God has given us? We are trying so hard to survive in this world. We are lost, frustrated, angry and just given up even trying to survive. Just too many of these questions and lingering thoughts in our mind for which we will never find the answer on our own. Exhausting!!!
We do know God is present in our lives but we have become so overwhelmed by every struggle that we fail to seek Jesus for help. We have been taught in Sunday school, at school and by parents that Jesus is the source of life and light. Yes, Indeed He will shine His light on areas in our life that need change to happen. Whether it be something that pushed us away from Jesus or we can't make time for Him.
We go to God when we need a request to be met, in fact we should but we must also go to Him if we feel we are overlooking Him in every area of our lives and ask for forgiveness. He in turn will align our track with Him, so that every move we make is God designed and is life giving. Jesus is the fountain of life. He plants seeds in our lives that need growth in and waters it constantly to nourish it. He will help us grow in Him and even though while we are growing we might encounter thorns piercing through on every side or any other factor that can hinder our growth. But Jesus will remove all that hinderances and keep watering us. And when we are grown, we bloom into a new life.
I love how Jesus shines His light in our lives so that we can identify the darkness that has occupied and how cool is that His light can also help us grow in Him like the sun helps the plants the grow. We will never become dry. He's the fountain of life that will equally help us to grow in Him. He will remove every pain, depression and all negative emotions in our lives which are like thorns. He will pluck those thorns out of our lives and make us new. He being the light and fountain of life transforms us and also makes us His radiating influence on others who struggle. Jesus loves us and is always ready to embrace us. So come before Jesus and place all your cares and burdens at His feet and let the new life giving savior take you under His wings.
God bless you.
