Gentle Jesus, meek and mild
Heaven sent One, Holy Child
Sinless, Spotless, dying Lamb
Hanging there, the Great I Am!

Spit upon by wretched men
Yet, forgave! Forgiveth them!
No such love could earth produce
Heaven sent, that sacrifice!

All hail Thee Jesus, Son of God!
Reconciling through Your blood
Giving remission for our sin
Sending Spirit, to dwell within

Lazarus came forth, heard his name
So shall we, who are born again
When Thou callest to COME UP!
We shall gloriously rise in Triumph!

Thou deliverest from death and hell
That my soul knoweth right well
Forgiveness to the umpteenth degree
It constantly amazes me!

That You have offered pardon to us
By Your death on Calvary’s Cross
Constrain me Lord by Your great love
To share the message and spread it abroad

Nor dry eyes when in godly fear
But sow Thy Word with weeping tear
A mixture strange and yet so real
Your love toward me, makes me feel

Mercy! Grace! Abundant Free!
Whosoever will, calleth upon Thee
Repent! Believe! Make thy path straight
Or you shall not enter Heaven’s Gate.
