Signs and wonders produce the evangelism and the evangelism in turn produces the setting up of the culture.

First learn the theology. Second learn the culture. Third learn the plans.

Theology, culture and plans are the three disciplines of mission.

Theology is the discipline of the heart. Nobody can escape the culture which has significant influence on his life. The problems he is facing will reappear in the new culture. Plans are the practical preachings.

Just to escape home-culture do not cross-culture. Pace is to destroy God’s work if you are depending on you. - Bill Hybels. Every culture has Christ influence and evil influence till reaping of harvest.

Nobody like truth by a stranger. Nobody buys truth by a person they don’t like. Being a friend is more intrested than understanding Pentateuch. Know people needs, fears and temptations. Present the need for salvation. Only Jesus can satisfy the longings of human heart.

Relationship of the gospel with the culture is the centre to the evangelism and the missions – Paul G. Herbert.

If anyone helps you you have to repay him in the exact and general demand of the generation today. If you do the possible God will do the impossible. Trust in the God in your inability it's God's ability.

Salvation is great because God, Jesus and sinner have to pay great price. Even no salvation and after salvation are with great price.

Costly salvation makes God cheap. To save God becomes cheap.

Mission is cross-cultural; Evangelism is mono-cultural. Evangelism is the secret of the Church Growth. Pray for evangelism & for evangelist Col 4:2-4; Mt 9:37,38. Evangelism is presenting Christ as answer to their problems.

Satan is beaten snake in Genesis 3:15, the first evangelism and Christ is brazen snake in John 3:14. In the phrase “he will crush your head and you will strike his heel” in Genesis 3:15, proto – evangelism is there. Meaning the first evangelism happened in Genesis 3:15.

Acts 1:8 say’s

E0 evangelism means Jerusalem or home.

E1 evangelism means Judea or state.

E2 evangelism means Samaria or hostile community.

E3 evangelism means utter most parts of the generation or surrounding countries.

E means Evangelist or Evangelism.

Genesis 3:15 - proto – evangelism between snake & Christ.

John 3:15 - evangelism between believers & unbelievers.

Acts 3:15 - evangelism between death & witnessing.

The three types of Evangelism

(i) Personal evangelism. John 3 (Jesus & Nicodemus). John 4 (Jesus & Samaritan woman)

(ii) Public evangelism (Peter in Acts 2)

(iii) Media evangelism (Television).

Do not judge.

Holy Spirit fruit grace is primary evidence for the devotion then the gifts of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is deposit guaranteeing eternal life means deposit is advance given for a deal. Fruits of the Holy Spirit are evidence for gifts of the Holy Spirit. Power and ministry can happen without Holy Spirit. But more power and more ministry can happen with Holy Spirit.

If a believer wants to choose for saving between believer and unbeliever he may decide to select to choose to save unbeliever because of a soul-winning.

Christian success is soul-winning and transformed lives. Success of local church demands outreach and evangelism. Quantity of church is converted unsaved. Quality of church is all about spiritual gifts. If church is not producing converts you may have to forget that church. No need of special call for evangelism it is the commission of the Lord.

Great commission is not preaching gospel but also raising dead. Teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded. These are the duties we need to check or ponder upon.

Fire makes fire. Life begets life. Worship is contagious. The revival should start in you first.

Beauty never comes out but in Jesus Christ beauty comes from ashes. People of other faiths always want to equate Jesus with the religious persons of their religions. You are intended to care what Jesus intended to the believers. You are intended to counsel what Jesus intended to the believers.

Coming to Jesus Christ for salvation is not merely human achievement. There are no forced conversions in the Bible.
