He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. John 21:6 NIV
In Luke 5 we see the other time which the disciples caught a multitude of fish when obeying the Lord’s command. In that time the Lord did not specify a particular side of the boat for them to cast the nets overboard.
We can take away from this verse the message that when we obey the Lord, His power is released in and through us, with so much being accomplished that in no way could we do of our own power. In our weakness lies the power of God. Listen to and obey the word of the Lord and then watch all that happens. You shall be amazed!
