Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-31 NIV
John reveals here that many other works were performed by Jesus. Do you ever wonder what works He may have performed that none of the gospel writers share? But John reveals the truth of the matter, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Messiah. There is no one else through whom one can truly have life, a life which this world cannot provide for you, a life which is here now and will carry on when we move to our eternal residence in Heaven.
